I decided to stitch it up for Halloween this year! With an all black nail being big this year, I decided to use a lighter colour and combine it with a black polish.

I created a stitched up look on my nails. I used a pale purple as a base colour and added an effect nail polish on three of my nails. To tie the two in together I added a black stitch effect over the two polishes, thus stitching the two looks together.

step 1- Apply the base colour to your nails and let it dry properly before the next step.

step 2- You can choose where you want to add the effect nail polish. I decided on my thumb, index finger and ring finger. I used my Essence Nail Art DUO Stylist to draw a thin line where I wanted the effect nail polish to start. Then I painted in the rest of my nail with my normal nail polish brush. I find that two coats of effect nai lpolish works best.

step 3- After your effect nail polish has dried, use your nail art tool (Or any tool with a small tip) to apply a line of black polish where the base colour and effect polish meets. Once that line is drawn, draw 3-4 lines over that line to create a stitch effect.

This look is really super easy to create and once Halloween is over, you can leave out the stitching effect.
