Easy Criss-Cross Nail Art 2
Good morning lovelies! Another week has started and why not start it with a gorgeous mani? This week I have an Easy Criss-Cross Nail Art tutorial for you plus a review on the Catrice Alluring Reds Nail Glaze!

Cosmetix sent me a Catrice Alluring Reds Nail Glaze to try out and to create a nail art video. So today I want to show you how to create an easy nail art look with these polishes. When I was deciding what look to create I was torn between a detailed look or an easy tutorial. I decided to create this easy nail art look instead to show that you can create a gorgeous look with just two nail polishes. I also wanted to show a new technique and thought that a criss-cross look would be perfect!

Easy Criss-Cross Nail Art

Here is how you can create this look:
Step 1 – Start by painting a coat of the Silver Base Coat on all of your nails except your ring finger.
Step 2 – Paint your ring finger with the Red nail polish. You can decide if you want one or two coats (I only painted one).
Step 3 – Once the red nail polish on your ring finger is completely dry, place your nail tape. I used 6 pieces and placed them in a criss-cross pattern.
Step 4 – Once you’ve placed the tape, paint a coat of the silver polish over it.
Step 5 – While you wait for the first silver coat to dry on your ring finger, paint the red nail polish over the other nails.
Step 6 – Paint another silver coat over your ring finger and wait for it to dry completely.
Step 7 – Once your nail polish is completely dry, slowly remove the tape and seal in the look with a top coat.

What I used:
Red Nail Polish: Catrice Alluring Reds C02 Art of Seduction
Silver Nail Polish: Catrice Alluring Reds Nail Glaze

I’ve had my eye on these nail polishes and I’m so happy I could try them out. This is such a simple system that gives you a gorgeous result. You start by applying the silver glaze base coat and then apply the red colour coat over it. In doing so you will achieve a gorgeous China Glazed look. Another big plus is that each polish can be used on its own for a beautiful mani.

I would love to hear what you thought of my nail art tutorial, so please leave me a comment below! Have a wonderful Monday 🙂
