I just love a good chicken burger and I even love it more when I can make it myself! Here’s how you can make your own chicken burgers.

Chicken burgers are one of my favourite things to eat, but after being disappointing with so many take-out places and restaurants, I decided to rather stick to making my own. Making your own chicken burgers are easy, affordable and delicious. This post isn’t about how to build the perfect burger, but rather about how to make the perfect chicken patty yourself!

What you will need:

Chicken Mince

Here is how to make your patties:

Step 1- Place your chicken mince in a bowl that is easy to work with.

Step 2 – Add oats to your chicken mince. This will help with binding the patty and it’s also a great filler. It’s best to add a little bit at a time, mix and then add more until you’re sattisfied.
Step 3- Once you added and mixed in your oats, start forming your patties. They can be any size that you want.

Step 4- Place your patties in a pan of hot oil and remember to turn them so that they don’t burn. These are quick to make so they won’t take long.

And it’s that easy to make your own chicken patties! I find that these are really filling so one burger is more than enough for dinner. Also for a healthier option, instead of having chips with your burger, make a salad and cut up some carrot sticks.
