Since I started blogging I have made so many smoothies, but I realized that I have never added one of my favourite fruits: Grapes! So here is an easy and delicious Banana, Grape & Flaxseed Smoothie recipe.
Grapes are really such a great fruit to add to your smoothies seeing that they taste delicious and they blend so well with other fruits. This recipe is really easy to make and it makes for a delicious breakfast or light lunch.
1 Large Banana
1 Cup of Whole Grapes
2 Tablespoons Flaxseed
1 Cup of Cold Water
Place all the ingredients into a blender (or use a hand blender) and process the mixture until smooth.
With grapes being more watery, you can choose to skip the cup of water and simply blend the fruit together if you want a thicker smoothie and I find that freezing the fruits before blending it really works great.
