Review: Essence Metal Glam {04 Gold Digger}

Review Essence Metal Glam {04 Gold Digger} I never really thought I would try out a metallic nail polish, but with seeing so many looks created with it the last while, I really wanted to try it for myself. A metallic nail is really a sure way to add a bit of glam to any look.

I chose this gold metallic polish from Essence to be the first one I try, and now I simply have to buy more! I have had my eye on these metal glam nail polishes from Essence for a while now and when I was picking up a few new items the other day, I decided to get this polish and it’s safe to say that I absolutely love metallic nails now! This is going to be such a gorgeous shade to have for autumn and winter and I can see that this is going to become my go to nail colour.

Why I love

The colour of this nail polish is absolutely gorgeous and it applies so easily and mess free. I just love the whole liquid metal look that it creates once it is dry. Even though it’s such a gorgeous colour, I was scared that it would scratch off or smudge easily due to the fact that it’s an effect nail polish. But it seems that my fears were for nothing as it dries so fast and it really lasts well without smudging or scratching off. Another great thing that I found about this metallic polish is the fact that you don’t need more that one coat to get a gorgeous shimmering metallic nail.

    Love simple gold or silver shades more than coloured metallics of late. They seem just as chic as nude shades to me :)
