I have been loving making smoothies with my new smoothie maker and I decided to try out this absolutely delicious and healthy Carrot, Apple & Ginger Smoothie.
Adding vegetables to your smoothies is a great way to get those extra nutrients in and it makes a great and filling snack or meal! This is a smoothie that has more of a texture, but even though it has a bit grainy, it’s absolutely amazing!
This smoothie has two key ingredients that are really good for you. Firstly it contains mostly carrots which are high in beta carotene which is an anti-oxidant that is converted to Vitamin A inside the body which helps with repairing skin tissue. Then this smoothie also contains ginger which is great for improving circulation, it boosts the immune system and it aids digestion.
5 Carrots (Peeled)
1-2 Teaspoons Ginger
1 Cup of cold water
Place all the ingredients into a blender (or use a hand blender) and process the mixture until smooth.
