A smokey eye does not always have to be dark, instead you can try to create an everyday neutral smokey eye instead. I really love the simplicity of this look and find it incredibly gorgeous. Here is a short guide on how you can achieve this look.
When it comes to eyeshadow I really like my neutral tones way more and I enjoy creating a softer look with them. This look that I created for today’s post can be worn in the daytime, but can also be worn at night.
Step 1 - Apply a light shimmery eyeshadow all over your eyelid. For this look I used a light off white from my eyeshadow palette.
Step 2 - Next apply a darker shimmery tone to your lid and feel free to lightly put it on up to your eyebrows (make sure that it’s not too dark, you just want the colour lightly there)
Step 3 - Using a dark toned eyeshadow, apply it on the outside of your eyelid, in the crease of your eyelid and slightly above your eyelid
Step 4 - Using a blending brush, blend the darker colour in with the rest of your eyeshadow.
Step 5 - After you are done with your eyeshadow you can create a gorgeous cateye that will go well with this look.
Step 6 - Lastly apply your mascara for full and thick lashes
* Just remember that blending is key when you create a look like this. It is really important to blend the colour correctly so that you can get that flawless look that you desire.
