DIY Vanity Corner

Every girl needs a space where she can put on her make-up and do her hair.

I had the problem of having absolutely no place to do my make-up and hair. I decided to utilize an empty wall space and create my own vanity corner.

I decided to use simple things to create the look and effect with this corner. I essentially needed something to put my make-up and accessories in and a place I can hang my handbags and straightener. Not wanting to spend much, I set a budget of R600 to construct the whole vanity corner.

DIY Vanity Corner Storage Options

For storage I got two honey pots that will be used to store cotton balls and all my hair elastics and clips. I used tumblers for my brushes, make-up and other beauty items. And lastly I got a hook to hang my straightener, hair dryer and handbags from. I put a 60cm shelf up to put everything on and I hung my mirror up behind it. To make the whole corner look neat and tidy I organized the rest of my stuff on the end table in storage boxes.

This vanity corner is beautiful, it is practical and takes up little space.
