3 Creative ways to wrap your gifts

Instead of using expensive store bought gift wrap, why don’t you print your own this year that suits your style? In this post I have put 3 creative ways to wrap your gifts plus free wrapping paper printables.

Receiving a beautifully wrapped gift makes us all feel happy and let me just say that the the exterior of your gift is almost just as important as the gift inside.

I love being creative and this year I decided to create my own wrapping paper rather than opting for the store bought kind (You are so limited sometimes anyway, and by making my own I can create the exact style I have in mind).

1. Polka dots and Polaroids Polka dots and Poloroids

I wanted to create a more personal effect with wrapping this gift so I chose a beautiful golden polka dot wrapping paper and combined it with a white raffia bow and a Polaroid photo. My gift tag that I added to the gift was a golden chevron pattern that looks great with the polka dots.

2. Snowflakes Snowflakes

Add a bit more Christmas cheer to your gifts with a snowflake themed wrapping paper. I designed my own red snowflake wrapping paper and combined it with a pretty lace ribbon and a custom designed gift tag. I chose to create a red striped gift tag to go with this wrapping paper, as it stands out more that way and it ties the whole look together.

3. Chevron love! Chevron love

I absolutely love a chevron pattern and I decided to combine it with a gold colour to create this gorgeous gift packaging! This is a more simple and straight forward gift wrap, but it looks so pretty. I used a golden chevron gift wrap, lace ribbon and a personalized photo gift tag.

I hope that you guys feel inspired after this post about wrapping your Christmas gifts and that you liked it. I would love hear your thoughts on this and see how you wrapped your gifts. Friday I will post the gift tags that I used in this tutorial, so keep an eye out for that. Happy Wrapping!
