Christmas Lights Nail Art

For this festive season I decided to do a nail art series on some Christmas nail looks. This will be my first nail art tutorial for this series and I am kicking it off with a cute and easy Christmas Lights Nail Art.

There’s so much inspiration out there for nail art during the festive season that I didn’t know what to create first! So I finally decided on this Christmas Lights Nail Art look, seeing as it looks super cute and it’s easy to create (so if you are new to nail art, you will also be able to create this look)

I find that Christmas lights always look so pretty on the tree, so why not create some pretty lights on your nails? Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how you can create this look:

Step 1 – Apply the base nail polish colour to your nail and let it dry well
Step 2 – Using your nail art tool (or the tool that you like to use to draw stripes on your nails), draw a black line over your nail. This will be the string of the lights so feel free to draw it as you please (you can even add in a loop or two)
Step 3 – After the string has dried, draw in your lights. Make light shapes with your tool of choice in your favourite festive colours. I used green, gold and red for my lights.

I would love to hear what you thought of this nail art look and if you create it, I would love to see! Remember to stay tuned for the other Christmas Nail Looks that I will be posting this month.
